At two universities, I developed and implemented strategic initiatives, trainings, and programs that help students to become partners in their education and directors of their career success.
As a Career Success Center Assistant Director at Oregon State University and Career Placement Coordinator with Arkansas State University-Mountain Home, I collaborated with faculty, staff, and employers to ensure students were competitive in the job market after graduation.
From January of 2011 to March of 2017, I performed labor market analysis and skills gap assessments for over 4,000 students. This approach allowed me to personalize career development instruction and ensure the most appropriate skills were being taught.
As a GCDF, my core competencies extend beyond career focus and encompass solid practices for advising students, clients, and employees.
